- AutoCAD Draughtsman Interior Design Projects Position AutoCAD Draughtsman - Interior DesignDepartment Design DraftingReports To Senior Interior Designer Project Manager Role Overview The AutoCAD Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings for interior design projects ensuring that the design intent is translated into precise construction drawings The role involves close coordination with interior designers architects contractors and vendors to deliver drawings that support the execution of residential commercial or retail interiors Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings working drawings shop drawings and detailed joinery furniture drawings for interior design projects Develop layout plans sections elevations and detail drawings based on design concepts and site requirements Ensure drawings comply with design standards specifications and building codes Coordinate with the design team to incorporate feedback and revisions Prepare as-built drawings after site verification Maintain organized drawing documentation and filing systems Collaborate with project managers contractors and vendors to resolve drawing-related issues Support the design team in developing presentation drawings when required Skills Competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D basic 3D knowledge of SketchUp with Vray and D5 renderer will be an advantage Strong understanding of interior design detailing joinery and material specifications Ability to produce precise clear and accurate technical drawings Good knowledge of construction methods and interior fit-out works Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team under deadlines Qualifications Experience Diploma certificate from reputed CADD centre or Diploma in civil engineering with focus on cad drawings 3-4 years of experience as a Draughtsman in interior design projects Key Attributes Detail-oriented and methodical Strong communication and coordination skills Problem-solving approach with a collaborative mindset Commitment to quality and timely delivery Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
