Requirement:- Roles and Responsibilities: - You will be engaged in product verification activities relating to test planning, automation, and test execution for telecom products - You will develop test strategy, do test planning, and conceptualize manual & automation test development. - You will have an understanding of solution, system performance, load and stress testing, thereby validating product capabilities. - You will be required to do continuous research to ensure software features meet identified standards, product marketing/functional requirements and customer solutions - You will work closely with PLM, engineers from embedded software, network management software and hardware teams to develop manual and automation test strategy - You will drive the authoring, execution and automation of feature and solution test plans to validate product capabilities - You will contribute to a culture of constant innovation and continual improvement - You will support System Engineering team for customer demos, Support field teams on critical customer issues - You will actively participate in Customer Documentation review Skills: - Positive hands-on experience on L2 and L3 protocols, especially in the following areas, will be desirable: BGP, OSPF, LDP, RSVP, BFD, L2 VPN, L3 VPN, QoS. - Automation hands-on experience in open-source frameworks such as Robot, Py-Test, etc. will be a big plus. - Deep understanding of one or more of VLAN (dot1q, dot1ad), MPLS-TP and associated technologies (BFD, PWSM, RFC6426, VCCV Ping/Traceroute), G.8032 (ERPS), QoS (Flat, Hierarchical), SyncE, PTP (1588), xSTP (802.1d, 802.1s, 802.1w), LAG (static, LACP), ACL, IGMP proxy/snooping, Ethernet OAM (802.1ag), G.8031 (LAPS), Performance monitoring (Y.1731), Circuit emulation (MEF3, MEF8), etc.
