L&D – Operations Training & Workforce Planning
Design, implement, and manage continuous training programs for ground-level operational staff (reception, housekeeping, admin, patient services, etc.) and maintain a bench resource strategy to ensure seamless operations during leaves or peak demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create role-specific training modules.
- Program Design & Delivery: Develop onboarding and refresher training programs for operational staff across all hospital branches.
- Bench Resource Planning: Maintain surplus staff pool and implement cross-training for flexibility and quick deployment.
- Standardization: Ensure uniform service quality and process adherence across all hospitals.
- Technology Integration: Implement and manage an LMS (Learning Management System) for tracking training progress and compliance.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate training effectiveness and resource utilization; report metrics to senior management.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with HR, Operations, and Department Heads for scheduling and workforce planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: MBA in HR/Operations or Postgraduate in Organizational Development / L&D specialization.
- Experience: 5–8 years in L&D or Operations Training, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
- Skills:Strong knowledge of training design and adult learning principles
- Workforce planning and resource management expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital training tools
Preferred Background:
- Experience in hospital operations or large-scale service organizations
- Exposure to continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma)
