Key Responsibilities
ThoughtSpot Development
- Design and develop high-performance ThoughtSpot Liveboards and Answers
- Build action-oriented dashboards tailored for business teams (Finance, Sales, Product, Marketing, Support)
- Use TML (ThoughtSpot Modeling Language) for scalable deployment, migration, and versioning
- Leverage SpotIQ and Spotter for automated insights and AI-driven analysis
- Develop custom visualizations using Muze Studio
Data & SQL (Snowflake)
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, multi-level joins)
- Build and manage efficient SQL views in Snowflake
- Ensure data accuracy and validation between warehouse and dashboards
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize data models for search-based analytics
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with Data Analysts to convert business problems into analytical dashboards
- Work cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, performance, and usability
- Maintain version control (GitHub) for SQL and TML with proper review processes
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable analytics solutions
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years in Data Visualization / BI Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in ThoughtSpot (MANDATORY) (Liveboards, Answers, TML, SpotIQ/Spotter)
- Advanced SQL expertise (complex queries, optimization)
- Strong Snowflake experience (performance tuning, data modeling)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams
- Hands-on with Git / version control workflows
Good to Have
- Experience with Muze / custom visualizations
- Exposure to modern data stack / analytics engineering
- Experience building search-driven analytics systems
- CI/CD workflows for analytics assets
