Role Overview\nWe are seeking a C/C++ Developer to design, develop, and maintain US Tax regulatory software applications. The role involves working on tax forms, interview-driven workflows, and regulatory updates, ensuring high accuracy, compliance, and reliability of business logic implementation.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Develop and maintain US Tax applications using C/C++ and MFC.\n- Build tax forms, schedules, and interview-based workflows using HTML and JavaScript.\n- Implement unit tests to validate business logic, regulatory accuracy, and code quality.\n- Analyze US tax law changes and implement updates accurately in the system.\n- Translate complex tax regulations into reliable and maintainable code.\n- Develop automation tools/scripts using Python / PowerShell / Batch scripting.\n- Debug and resolve functional, performance, and compliance-related issues.\n- Participate in code reviews ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.\n- Collaborate with QA, Product, Regulatory, and Business teams for requirement delivery.\n\nCandidate Expectations\n\n- 2–4 years of experience in C/C++ development.\n- Exposure to MFC is an added advantage.\n- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python / PowerShell / Batch / VB Script).\n- Experience with HTML and JavaScript, preferably for form-based or workflow applications.\n- Strong ability to implement business/regulatory logic with high accuracy.\n- Experience in unit testing for validating logic and code reliability.\n- Familiarity with US Tax domain or tax software is a strong plus.\n- Knowledge of version control tools (Git / SVN / Perforce).\n- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.\n\nSkill Set\nMust Have\n\n- C/C++\n- Scripting (Python / PowerShell / Batch / VB Script)\n- Version Control (Git / SVN / Perforce)\n\nPositive to Have\n\n- MFC\n- HTML & JavaScript\n- Azure DevOps\n- Unit Testing (Catch2 / Google Test)\n- US Tax Domain Knowledge\n
