- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA / Bugzilla / Azure DevOps.
- Perform regression testing, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Maintain test documentation and test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Validate API responses using tools like Postman (if applicable).
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
- Experience with manual testing.
- Understanding of test case writing and execution.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
- Basic programming knowledge ( JavaScript).
- Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
