We are looking for a Senior Manager – Data Engineering to lead the next phase of innovation for a high-scale fintech data platform.
This role is ideal for someone who has built real-time data platforms, worked with streaming systems, and can lead teams to deliver scalable, reliable data infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Own and scale the data lake & OLAP ecosystem- Build and evolve real-time data pipelines (Kafka/MSK, CDC, BigQuery)- Lead a team of data engineers to deliver end-to-end data projects- Design scalable data platforms using S3, Iceberg, Glue, Athena- Collaborate with product, ML, and business teams for analytics & AI use cases- Drive best practices around data quality, governance, and observability
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with Kafka / Streaming systems- Hands-on with BigQuery (or modern data warehouse)- Experience building data platforms from scratch- Strong coding in Python / Java- Experience with Airflow, Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT- Team handling experience (5+ engineers)
☁️ Good to Have
- Experience with CDC / Debezium- Exposure to AWS + GCP- Knowledge of Iceberg, Athena, Glue- Fintech / high-scale product experience
