Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Channel Sales

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Head
Location: As per assigned territory
Job Purpose
To drive sales growth through dealer and distributor networks for Industrial and FRP Ladder products by developing strong channel partnerships, expanding market presence, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Development
- Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers/distributors in the assigned territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners.
- Ensure proper product availability through the dealer network.
Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop territory sales plans and implement strategies to increase market share.
Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities in industries such as construction, manufacturing, warehouses, telecom, power plants, and maintenance sectors.
- Promote Industrial and FRP ladder solutions through channel partners.
Dealer Management
- Conduct regular dealer visits and provide product training.
- Monitor dealer performance and support them in closing orders.
- Resolve channel partner queries and ensure smooth operations.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market requirements and customer preferences.
Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Submit daily/weekly sales activity reports to the reporting manager.
Customer Engagement
- Support dealers in meeting key customers and large industrial clients.
- Assist in product demonstrations and technical discussions when required.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in channel sales / dealer sales .
- Experience in industrial products, safety equipment, ladders, scaffolding, or construction-related products will be preferred.
